Mrs. Davis's Class
Instructor: Mrs. Alesa Davis
The Holiday Season is here!!  The first week in December will be busy with practice for our Annual Bikers' Run.  What a wonderful way to kick off the season of giving, hope, and cheer!  The students and staff are working extra hard to celebrate Christmas Around the Decades to show our appreciation for Mike Dyson and his benevolent band of bikers.
For the next three weeks, students will increase their holiday vocabulary, work on counting skills, shapes, and colors, practice social skills and turn taking, and follow directions and recipes while learning about the three major winter holidays of the season: Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa.  We will explore how different and special each holiday is but we will emphasize that though people and holidays may be different, we have a lot of things in common: the wish for hope, peace, and love.
Seasons Greetings!!
Merry Christma-Kwanz-ukkah!!
and Have a Happy New Year!!
